Job description

As the Deputy CBDO, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of business development strategies to heighten company profitability. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of business development and sales professionals, identifying business opportunities to pursue and creating business proposals to support your ideas.


Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Market research and analysis.
  • Identification of market potential.
  • Enhancement of cross-selling strategies.
  • Profiling potential partners.
  • Identification of key partners.
  • Development of partner attraction and development strategies.
  • Resource calculation for task execution.

Business Process Creation and Implementation:

  • Analysis of current business processes.
  • Optimization of existing business processes.
  • Implementation and testing of new business processes.

Team Formation and Development:

  • Employee profiling.
  • Creation of job descriptions.
  • Recruitment and hiring of staff.
  • Employee training.
  • Regular auditing of staff.
  • Team spirit cultivation.
  • Identification of employee interests and desires.
  • Development and adherence to career plans for staff.
  • Employee motivation.
  • Conducting regular training sessions to enhance team quality.

Partner Attraction and Development:

  • Identification of key partners.
  • Prioritisation of partner attraction.
  • CRM management oversight.
  • Quality control of acquired partners.
  • Participation in meetings alongside attraction managers.
  • Face-to-face meetings with key partners and contract negotiations.
  • Oversight of onboarding new partners.
  • Development and implementation of joint activities with partners to increase sales, market penetration, etc.
  • Optimization of partner onboarding processes.
  • Identification of effective channels for lead generation.

Sales:

  • Creation and implementation of necessary reports for workflow improvement and efficiency enhancement.
  • Regular optimization of partner acquisition costs and transactions.
  • Planning of sales, profitability, and positive economics.
  • Sales monitoring and plan execution control.
  • Identification and implementation of various tools to boost sales.

Job requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership positions.
  • Proven track record in business development, particularly in the fintech or e-commerce sectors.

Language Skills:

  • Proficiency in Russian (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Uzbek (desirable).
  • Proficiency in English (mandatory).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) at a professional level.
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Familiarity with sales, marketing, economics, management, finance, and logistics.

Industry Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of the fintech and e-commerce industry.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment and business landscape in Uzbekistan.

Strategic Planning:

  • Experience in conducting market research and analysis.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective business strategies.
  • Understanding of cross-selling strategies and market potential.

Team Management:

  • Previous experience in team formation and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to create job descriptions and recruit suitable staff.
  • Experience in employee training and motivation.
  • Track record of fostering a positive team culture.

Business Process Optimization:

  • Previous experience in analyzing and optimizing business processes.
  • Ability to implement and test new business processes for efficiency.

Partner Attraction and Development:

  • Demonstrated success in identifying and attracting key partners.
  • Proficiency in CRM management and oversight.
  • Experience in negotiating and finalizing contracts with partners.
  • Ability to develop and implement joint activities with partners.
